Draft Engine Expert Analysis
We're looking to give you an edge in your season-long fantasy leagues, but why not help out a little with some daily fantasy? Each week, we'll be giving you some of our favorite plays for the weekend's DFS slate. Let's make some money!
Favorite Stack - Kirk Cousins ($5,900) & WR Adam Thielen ($7,200), MIN at IND – Minnesota's defensive woes will lead to more attempts for Cousins this season, and in Week 1, Thielen delivered a 6-110-2 line against a quality secondary. Against a Colts defense that rolled over against a talent-devoid Jaguars offense last Sunday, the Vikings stack is a nice value at these prices.
RB Bargain - Nick Chubb ($6,200), CLE v. CIN – Chubb's Week 1 touches were limited by game flow (i.e. the Browns got shellacked), but against the Bengals, Chubb will get a heavy workload and comes at decent DraftKings salary.
Flex Bargain - RB Todd Gurley ($6,100), ATL at DAL – Gurley has no NFL-caliber competition for touches in Atlanta's backfield. He looked pretty good in Week 1, and if the Falcons can stay competitive, he'll get more touches and scoring opportunities at a reasonable price.
Favorite Stack - Aaron Rodgers ($7,900) & WR Davante Adams ($8,600), GNB v. DET – Adams has six TD in his last five games against Detroit, and 233 yards on 16 catches in his last two matchups against them. Rodgers is no stranger to abusing the Lions, and certainly looked sharp in Week 1.
RB Bargain - Derrick Henry ($8,300), TEN v. JAX – Sticking with the theme of prior domination of an opponent: He's racked up 459 total yards and seven TD in his last three against the Jags, and Jacksonville's defense has only hemorrhaged talent since those matchups.
Flex Bargain - RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire ($8,000), KAN at LAC – FanDuel has seven RBs more expensive than CEH this week, but we think his ceiling is sky-high after an impressive debut and going up against a mediocre opponent.
Favorite Stack - Kyler Murray ($33) & WR DeAndre Hopkins ($31) ARI v. WAS – Neither player is particularly cheap on any platform, but Week 1 made it clear that Murray is a weekly No. 1 QB candidate and he'll feed Hopkins non stop. If they can dominate the stat-sheet against arguably the league's best defense (the 49ers last week), they have win-the-week potential every week.
RB Bargain - Jonathan Taylor ($19), IND v. MIN – Taylor's debut was a letdown, but with Marlon Mack's season-ending injury, Taylor should see an increased workload in Week 2. He'll cede snaps to Nyheim Hines, but as Yahoo!'s 20th-most expensive RB, he'll deliver great value.
Flex Bargain - RB Malcolm Brown ($16), LAR at PHI – Brown was the breakout star in L.A.'s backfield last Sunday, but he's still up for grabs at a backup-level price on Yahoo! (and FanDuel, too).
